I’m Sara Jane Jacobs (a.k.a. just Jane).

I’m a mom to two, Nonna to seven, and roommate to a family of felines. I write clean, contemporary romance about love, family, and finding your way home.

I’ve been creating stories in one form or another for as long as I can remember. As a child, I loved “let’s pretend” games and reading — which eventually grew into a love for acting and stage production. After high school, I realized what I really loved most was writing.

Life unfolded — I got married, had kids, embraced the mom life. But I never stopped writing. For years, it was just a hobby… until 2016, when I finally submitted one of my stories to a publisher. The manuscript (Season of Deception) was a bit too long, so I split it into two books. That’s how Season of Hope was born. Both were published by Clean Reads Publishing in 2017.

A Few Fun Facts

I was born in North Carolina and moved to Pensacola, Florida on my fifth birthday — I’ve called it home ever since (with a few detours in between).

In 2019, I sold my house and moved into a 28-foot travel trailer — my own version of a tiny home for a while. These days, I’m renting from my daughter and enjoying a quieter season of life (with plenty of cat supervision, of course).

I’ve always had a soft spot for Franklin, North Carolina — my dad’s hometown and the place we spent our summer vacations. But these days, I’m happily rooted in Florida, soaking up the sunshine and staying close to family.

Fun fact: I met Steven Curtis Chapman in a tiny bookstore in 1988. He held my newborn son. Decades later, he held my grandson too. (Yes, there are photos.)

I love hearing from readers!
