These days, I’m attempting to be more of a plotter in some areas of my life. (It hasn’t happened with my writing—because honestly, it doesn’t get better than watching the story unfold as a pantser!)
One area that does seem to be working out for me is my Christian romance newsletter. I enjoy planning these cozy cottage drop-ins with readers and discovering new ways to send a little fun and encouragement each week.
Book deals, faith notes, favorite reads, giveaways—I’m always on the lookout for something that might spark a bit of joy when you open your inbox on a Tuesday morning.
Every newsletter feels a bit like catching up with a friend over coffee. Here’s a peek at what you might find inside:
Faith Notes – a quote or a scripture to meditate on during the week.
Behind the Cottage Door – an occasional update on my writing life or a favorite read I’ve discovered (maybe even a picture of my chickens).
Sweet Bookish Finds – clean and Christian romance deals, new releases, and cozy book recs.
Weekly Giveaway – a little thank-you surprise for my subscribers.
While I like to think of these as chats over a cup of coffee, they’re really more like a quick hello at the cottage fence. I know you have things to do, so my newsletters are short, cozy, and right to the point—just enough to brighten your Tuesday without taking up too much of your morning.
(That said, I’ve been dreaming up a few ideas that might someday make the cottage a little more inviting—if you ever have time to come in for that cup of coffee. But more on that later.)
